  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Crushed hazelnuts (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl and allowing it to sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the cream and milk over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once the sugar is dissolved, add the chopped chocolate and hazelnut spread to the mixture, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until it is fully dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into 6 ramekins or serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, top with crushed hazelnuts and a drizzle of extra hazelnut spread, if desired.
