Venison Tetrazzini
Venison tetrazzini is a creamy, comforting pasta dish that combines tender venison with a rich, cheesy sauce. The slow cooker does all the work, making this a perfect dish for a busy weeknight or weekend gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb cooked venison (shredded or cubed)
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup peas
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, Parmesan, mozzarella, onion, peas, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked venison and cooked spaghetti to the slow cooker, then pour the sauce mixture over it.
- Stir to combine, then cook on low for 3–4 hours until the dish is heated through and bubbly.
- Garnish with extra cheese or fresh herbs if desired and serve.
