Equipment

  • High-speed blender (1 unit)
  • Measuring cups – 1 set
  • Measuring spoons – 1 set
  • Spatula (1 unit)
  • Serving glasses (2 units)

Ingredients

  • cups unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 oz white chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp honey or agave syrup/maple syrup for vegan option
  • oz frozen strawberries
  • oz frozen pineapple

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Begin by gathering all ingredients to ensure a smooth process.
Measure 1½ cups of unsweetened coconut milk, 1 ounce of white chocolate chips, 2 teaspoons of honey (or agave syrup/maple syrup for a vegan option), and 8½ ounces each of frozen strawberries and frozen pineapple.
Having all ingredients prepped beforehand makes blending easier and helps achieve the best results.
  • Blend Coconut Milk and White Chocolate: Pour the coconut milk into a high-speed blender or food processor.
    Add the white chocolate chips.
Blend on high speed for about 30–45 seconds until smooth.
Pause halfway to scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula.
This ensures the white chocolate melts evenly and there are no lumps, producing a smooth, creamy base for the smoothie.
  • Sweeten the Mixture: Add 2 teaspoons of honey (or agave syrup/maple syrup for a vegan option) to the coconut milk and white chocolate mixture.
Blend again for about 15–20 seconds until the sweetener is fully incorporated.
This step ensures the smoothie has a balanced sweetness throughout.
  • Add Frozen Fruit: Add the frozen strawberries and frozen pineapple to the blender.
These fruits contribute natural sweetness, fiber, and vibrant flavor.
Make sure the frozen fruit is evenly distributed in the blender for a consistent blend.
  • Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture at high speed for 1–2 minutes, or until thick, creamy, and smooth without any chunks.
Pause if needed to scrape the blender sides with a spatula.
This step ensures a perfectly smooth, indulgent texture that is both refreshing and satisfying.
  • Adjust Consistency: Check the smoothie’s texture.
If it’s too thick, add a tablespoon or two of coconut milk and blend briefly until the desired consistency is reached.
For an extra chill, add a small handful of ice cubes and blend until incorporated.
  • Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses.
Garnish with fresh strawberry slices, pineapple wedges, or shredded coconut for added flavor and visual appeal.
Enjoy this tropical treat right away to savor its fresh, creamy texture.
  • Enjoy Mindfully: Take a moment to appreciate the aroma, vibrant color, and balanced flavor of your Bahama Mama Tropical Smoothie.
Sip slowly to fully enjoy the tropical blend of strawberries, pineapple, coconut, and white chocolate.

Notes

  • For the best texture, always use frozen fruit as specified in the recipe. If fresh fruit is your choice, add at least ½ cup of ice cubes to ensure the smoothie stays thick and chilled.
  • Coconut milk can be substituted with almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk, though flavor and richness will slightly vary.
  • To make the smoothie vegan-friendly, replace honey with agave syrup or maple syrup and use vegan white chocolate chips.
  • Blend the white chocolate with coconut milk before adding fruit to avoid chocolate lumps and create a smooth base.
  • This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately to retain the fresh tropical flavor and creamy texture.
